Taboom Director Brian Pellot presented on traditional and social media engagement strategies at the Global Religions Convening in Nairobi, Kenya, June 17-19, 2017. The private gathering brought together 30 religious leaders from across Sub-Saharan Africa to develop collaborations, share intelligence and advocacy strategies, and explore opportunities for movement-building and for strengthening a network of LGBTQI+ inclusive religious leaders and faith activists in Africa.

Participants discussed the legal, political, and social context of their work and their organizations’ strategies for promoting equality and acceptance.
