On 21 January 2021, Taboom Media’s Founding Director Brian Pellot spoke as a panelist for International Media Support’s 3rd Global International Training Programme Webinar: “A Solution From Within: How Media Self-Regulation Can Boost Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion”. IMS is the largest media development organisation in the Nordic region and works to promote freedom of expression and good journalism across the globe.

The main aim of the ITP programme is to promote media self-regulation. More than 100 media representatives attended the panel from Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

Other panelists were Kristin Olson (Principal Adviser to the Office of the Representative on Freedom of the Media at
OSCE) and Dr. Zahera Harb (Media Scholar and Senior Lecturer in International Journalism at City, University of London).
